It’s now June. The days are longer, the sun is out (most of the time) and my hayfever is starting to *really* pee me off. But, it also means that May is long gone, and with it, the Clean Sweep Arc Challenge, so wonderfully co-hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Angela at Angela’s Anxious Life. In my sign up post here I said I was going to aim for 12 titles and get my NetGalley approval rating closer to 80%. Well, I almost got there.
Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and I hope to make it a weekly post on this site. The basic premise is that book bloggers get together and share the week’s acquisitions, be they bought books (new or second hand) or ebooks (either purchased or advance review copies) even books borrowed from the library of friends.
It’s been a bit of a strange week: dodgy weather, intermittent internet and here in the UK, the schools are on a week’s break, so I’ve had a house full of miniature humans. I’ve got to Friday and my head just feels like a bucket full of bleurgh.
